We’re back to normality this week after a wonderful festive break, we’ve kept active with lots of dog walking, some canicross and a very cold but stunningly beautiful climb up Tinto Hill with our dogs, Scout and Toby. Tinto Hill, located near Biggar is just over 700 metres high with a fairly easy path most of the way, there are a few steeps bits and the last climb to the summit has lots of loose rocks making it fun, achievable and a wee bit challenging…perfect training for our planned Munros.
We used our Non Stop dog harness kits leaving our hands free to make the climb easier. Scout and Toby did a fabulous job of pulling us up the hill, it was Toby’s first hill climb and he took it all in his stride.
Our dogs love our active lifestyle so will be joining us in lots of our training, we’re looking forward to reaching the summit of lots more hills but will definitely keep Tinto in our training plans.
