A Burpee Mile, 1609 metres, 800+ burpees

So today I did the dreaded burpee mile. Words can’t express how pleased I am to have ticked that one off my challenge list so I’ll leave it to the pictures taken by the very talented Ruaridh of Eindp Scotland Sports Photography.

Very grateful to my wonderful PT and friend, Joda Quigley, of Tartan Warrior Fitness for training and support.

This one has to be worth a wee donation, every penny donated will make a real and significant difference to the charities we are supporting so please give if you can.

Beautiful Lochnagar

Earlier this month we took on the stunning Lochnagar Circuit, climbing five Munros in one day. Beautiful scenery, fab weather, a few challenging bits, some scrabbling near summits and lots and lots of walking. The 5 x hills, plus a few wee detours to look at the scenery, meant we covered just over 20 miles in around 9.5 hours. Another one from my 5 Decades, 5 Challenges, 5 Charities list ticked off.

As well as the stunning views we saw deer, hare and rabbits, loads of different birds and even some wee frogs on the paths.

The five magnificent Munros we bagged were:
1) Lochnagar
2) Carn a Choire Bhoidheach
3) Carn an t-Sagairt Mor
4) Cairn Bannoch
5) Broad Cairn
